As I approach 7 years of learning, striving, and figuring things out, I’ve realized it hasn’t gotten any easier, but I’ve definitely grown better. To anyone facing tough challenges, my best advice is to expect it to take a long time. Whether you’re creating content, products, or building a brand, time is your ally, along with the repeated efforts you put in. The more opportunities you have to step up, the more you learn.
In these seven years, I’ve visited hundreds of gyms and attended countless events. I’ve unpacked my car, van, and truck more times than I can count, with each experience teaching me something valuable. If I’m honest, I probably stayed in the trenches longer than necessary, but there comes a point when you need to make a decisive choice. Some will have the wisdom to choose early, while others, like me, will learn the hard way. However, if you’re thoughtful and use both your head and heart, you’ll make the right decisions in time.
This year, I reached a turning point. I realized I needed to step back from the field and delegate responsibilities to focus on building the structure of LRX. You can’t scale a business with one person selling one product at a time, but you can scale with a team selling multiple products, especially with good people, a strong product, and a growing brand.
So, starting in October, I’ll be transitioning from fieldwork to focusing on building LRX’s foundation. I’ve reached the point where I’ve burned the candle at both ends, and I’m grateful for the experience because it brought me to rock bottom and back. Without my faith, I wouldn’t be here, writing this and standing strong for the brand I’ve built from humble beginnings with just a few dollars in my bank account.
It hasn’t been easy, and it never will be. But what makes it worth it is looking back and saying, “I’m doing it.” Many people don’t even start, and I’m proud to say I have. Thank you for your support. When I say we’re just getting started, I mean it. This brand is in its early stages, and we have years ahead of us. Thanks for sticking with me and supporting our brand, community, and message. We’re excited to continue enhancing our product line, content, and community. You deserve the best.
