Fear is defined as: “an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain or a threat”
What in your life are you holding back from because of fear?
Whether it’s conscious or not, all of us tend to submit to fear at times when it comes to achieving our goals.
For many, the fear of being uncomfortable can keep us from taking risks and moving forward.
But the reality is, you will never grow unless you are uncomfortable.
In the gym, your muscles won’t grow unless you put them under some sort of tension. Same as in life, you won’t grow unless you put yourself under some kind of pressure or tension. It’s pushing past the uncomfortable and coming out the other side that ultimately grows you.
The real key to growth is welcoming what is uncomfortable, knowing that you will be able to come out the other side even stronger.
Once you train your mind to look for opportunities to become uncomfortable, you will no longer fear it anymore.
So take the jump. Do what scares you.
Failure is nothing to be afraid of. Being uncomfortable is nothing to be afraid of. You never know what could happen if you do.
Fear has no hold on you.
